WHAT IS IT?
Unbroken is how I would like you to feel. Unbroken is not about living completely pain free, or pursuing unattainable ideals of perfect movement. Rather Unbroken about feeling able to do everything you want to do in life and sport. It’s about feeling in control of whatever pain, aches and niggles you have. Unbroken is actively working to treat your sore bits and train the weak spots in your movement system. Most importantly Unbroken is about showing you how to become a thoughtless, fearless mover.
The workshop is a distillation of the 25years of professional experience and learning as a physiotherapist and even longer as the owner of tweaky body it will teach you the best ‘moves’ I know to help you maximise your movement potential.
The day is packed full of information, myth busting, movement and practical ways to help yourself to hurt less, feel great and move better. We cover topics from eyeball exercises to jump squats and some surprising things in between.
Most of my fellow movement and health professionals are strongly focused on meat of your movement machine and pay little attention to the biological super computer running the show. This frequently leads to them, and therefore you, misunderstanding what drives your problems. This misunderstanding leads many people to focus their efforts on the wrong treatments and exercises, fail to improve and wind up feeling ‘broken’.
Unbroken aims to correct this by focusing on the movement systems that are biologically vital, but frequently ignored. In these we can often find simple ways to powerfully reduce pain, improve movement and feel great. With your efforts redirected feeling UNBROKEN might be closer than you think.

Our goal is to not only help you feel better in the short term but also equip you with the knowledge and tools to maintain optimal movement for the rest of your life. UNBROKEN aims to empower you to take control of your own body. You will learn techniques to improve flexibility, strength, and stability, as well as strategies to build a resilient, adaptable body thats ready for what the future holds.

We understand that movement is not just a physical act of joints and tissue but also a neuro-sensory feed-forward loop of neural flow. WHO’S IT FOR?
Humans who are frequently tweaky or stuck in pain.
Humans who always feel tight and stiff.
Humans who live with limitation from old injuries.
Humans who feel physically ‘broken’
Humans must be 16 year old to attend. (No upper limit!)
Humans should be physically able enough to:
Get on and off the floor
Lie on front and back
Balance for a few seconds on 1 leg barefoot
Move spine and limbs without triggering significant pain

WHAT DO I WEAR/BRING?
Wear comfortable loose fitting exercise/leisure wear.
You are welcome to bring your own exercise mat, any bands, blocks, self treatment tools you have, but we can supply anything you don’t bring.
Please bring a water bottle, a notebook and pen to scribble notes, and a phone/tablet for pictures and videos.
